Advertisement: BUY LESS CRAP

First of all, don't buy it. If you have to buy it, buy the smallest you can, and chose carefully. When you've bought it, don't use it. If you do use it, use it as little as you can, and switch it off when you've finished. If it breaks, fix it. If you can't fix it, use it for something else. If you have to throw it away, do it carefully, and remember the experience the next time you think about buying more crap.
